Empowerment Through Effective Communication

The Effective Communication Workshop is comprised of exercises that are fun, as well as powerful.  The focus with the first three exercises is on strengthening a person's ability to be present and to face life situations without flinching.  Following that, we'll work on communicating effectively and also listening and being more aware of what is going on with others we are communicating with.

If you unconsciously are doing something that is distracting or annoying to those you are trying to communicate with, that will come to light in doing the exercises and you can do something about it.

We'll also take a look at the various emotions we experience as human beings and the attitudes that go with them.  Understanding oneself and others better helps create better relationships.

Mahatma Gandhi said "You have to be the change you want to see in the world."

Confucius said " A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

If you would like to create better effects for yourself and for those you interact with, through more effective communication, this could be the step that helps you make real progress towards that goal.  When the quality of communication in a relationship is excellent, so is the relationship.  This could be called a Strengthing Relationships workshop, as good communication is the key to good relationships.
